We are currently seeking a Parts Associate to provide excellent customer service both our Canadian and American customers.

Job Duties

Objective:
To provide excellent customer service and supply of quality spare parts

  • Greeting all customers and vendors on telephone and in person.
  • Selling Holder and Kärcher Municipal Branded parts to Dealers, Service Centre's, and End Users
  • Providing parts to the onsite shop.
  • Daily review of backorders following up with customers and vendors to provide updates.
  • Confirming vendor packing slips and receiving parts into the inventory system.
  • Shelving/Stocking new parts shipments received daily.
  • Maintaining a neat and clean parts room.
  • Performing and tracking any changes to inventory into the computer systems.
  • Maintaining inventory control reports to supervisor; and
  • Other projects and tasks assigned by the supervisor.
  • Possible overtime shifts.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and effective listening skills
  • Excellent time management skills, i.e. efficient in task prioritizing and multitasking
  • Inventory handling experience
  • Computer and inventory systems knowledge
  • Experience in automotive, tractor, or truck and trailer parts is an asset
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Work Conditions

  • Use of required personal protective equipment (i.e. Certified steel toe footwear)
  • Extended periods of standing, and other physically demanding conditions
  • Lifting, moving, and bending

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$18.00-$21.00 per hour
