Archie Horn & Son is a residential/commercial plumbing and HVAC company that has been providing services in the Hamilton and surrounding areas for over 87 years.
We are looking for a casual Administrative Assistant to join the team.You will be reporting to Accounts Payable and be the first point of contact for customers over the phone and any visitors that come into the office.
You will be expected to schedule service calls and direct any customer questions to the appropriate person. You will also be assigned any duties as required (i.e., organization of inbound and outbound mail, maintaining the current filling system, processing customer invoices and any other administrative tasks as assigned.)Qualifications:
- Ability to multitask (handling multiple phone lines at once)
- Highly organized
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Works well in a fastpaced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- High attention to detail
- Proficient in learning new computer programs
- Ability to adapt to different situations
Experience:
- Minimum Education: Highschool Diploma
- Customer Service experience
- Previous experience working with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Administrative experience preferred
Job Type:
Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week
Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour
