- Bachelor's or equivalent * degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Demonstrated ability in the development of mobile applications (Android and/or IOS) REQUIRED
- Minimum of 3 years appropriate professional/industrial experience PREFERRED
- Several years related teaching experience at the post-secondary level PREFERRED
- Excellent English communication skills REQUIRED.
- Supervising staff and/or student interns in an IT work environment;
- Ability to collaborate with all program stakeholders to achieve the goals of the internship;
- Experience teaching in the program in a post-secondary environment PREFERRED.
- Inform the Program Coordinator of any internship-related problems (CNESST, absences, psychological harassment, etc.);
- Monitor, and evaluate students' acquisition of the internship course competencies and provide relevant feedback;
- Ensure that tasks and duties assigned to interns are program-related and that the workload is appropriate:
- Communicate with the internship host supervisor regarding student progress and industry trends;
- Visit with the interns and their internship supervisor at the host company (on-site or virtual) for the purpose of evaluation;
- Submit to Program Coordinator an internship report at the end of internship (synopsis of placements, issues encountered, points of interest including trends in industry, etc.);
- Number of hours to be determined at a ratio of 5.5 hours per student registered in the course.

Education superior to the stated minimum requirement may be substituted for professional/industrial experience at the discretion of the selection committee.
