- Bachelor's degree in technical field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience managing sales and sales teams in industrial manufacturing in the US and Canada, with a proven track record of consistent sales growth.
- An understanding of coating chemistries (e.g., Parylene, Acrylics, Silicones, Urethanes, Epoxies) and their applications is an advantage.
- Experience in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly, protection standards (IPC), and manufacturing environments is a significant advantage.
- Experience in medical device, electronics, automotive, and aerospace manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Demonstrated aptitude in new business development, customer acquisition and pipeline management is required.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and CRM/ERP software.
- Ability to actively listen, interpret technical requirements, and present complex solutions to groups or individuals.
- Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time in the US and Canada for customer meetings, trade shows, and operational visits.
- Act as a change agent with high integrity, urgency, and the ability to mentor remote, cross-functional teams.
- Coordinate sales efforts to prospect new customers across North America and grow corporate revenues.
- Oversee performance of accounts, key personnel, and channel partners to ensure revenue and profitability targets are met or exceeded.
- Develop and execute a sales plan using market data and industry trends to identify high-potential applications and market segments for growth.
- Monitor pipeline status weekly, managing the funnel from lead generation to close, and reporting status to leadership.
- Identify high-potential prospects through market analysis, cold-calling, attending trade shows, and responding to inbound inquiries.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with strategic customers and partners to drive mutual value and secure commitments.
- Lead cross-departmental coordination between Customer Service, Sales, Production, and Quality to disseminate product information, resolve issues, and ensure technical feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Work with Company management to establish sales processes, commission plans, marketing plans, and support sales efforts.

Description
Salary range $130K to $150K CAD, commensurate with experience
Electronic Coating Technologies (ECT) seeks a dynamic Sales Manager to drive significant revenue growth. Selling technical applications for coating printed circuit boards (PCB's), you will bring and implement a high-performance sales process at ECT to acquire new clients and business from across North America in both current industries and new sales channels.
The successful candidate will bring substantial sales experience, a strong track record of success, and the ambition to help lead the company into its next phase of growth. This is a hunter-manager role, with responsibility to obtain sales through extensive prospecting and cold-calling, while simultaneously developing the Company's sales processes and onboarding programs for additional sales representatives.
ECT's products and services are technical in nature, requiring the ability to quickly understand and communicate technical information as part of a sales process.
