About the Role:


As a founding member of the Uber Advertising team you will work in partnership with the Head of Programmatic to establish and deliver against Uber's programmatic partnership vision.

Uber is seeking an experienced Programmatic Solutions Manager with a deep understanding of advertisers needs, the programmatic landscape, audience targeting, auction dynamics, yield management and data privacy.

In this role you will help assess and partner with adtech partners and with Uber's product, engineering and operations teams.

You'll contribute toward Uber's programmatic focused critical initiatives by crafting and implementing technical implementation plans and working closely with cross functional colleagues to ensure technical integrations and partnerships are successful.


What You'll Do:


  • Partner with the Head of Programmatic, Product, and other key collaborators to implement a longterm programmatic vision
  • Identify and assess partnership opportunities with strategic technology partners from the ground up including DSPs and SSPs
  • Collaborate with internal and external technical and developer teams to drive communication, prioritization, analysis, and resolution of customer challenges and issues
  • Assessment of technical requirements and feasibility of partnership opportunities
  • Provide documentation and technical guidance to ensure the technical success of integrations
  • Actively respond to escalations relating to integration issues, discrepancies and any other technical issues
  • Participate in and contribute to quarterly business reviews with clients to review technical issues and product support opportunities
  • Strategic thought partner to team members in different parts of the business
  • Improve current processes and design/develop tools, processes, workflows to increase team productivity/efficiency

Basic Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of programmatic experience in Product Management, Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering

Preferred Qualifications:


  • 4+ years of programmatic experience working at a large publisher to establish their technology stack
  • Demonstrated performance in a constantly changing, ambiguous environment
  • High standards and a bias toward action. You can find the context and information you need through relationships across the organization, you push for clarity and delivery, and you hold a high bar from your contributions and those of the people you work with.
  • Be able to work cross functionally with many other roles and partners in the company
  • Customer obsessed (users and merchants) and be passionate about building great experiences for Uber users all over the world.
  • Experience working with DSPs, SSPs, exchanges, or other related technology
  • Experience collaborating across Product, Sales, Operations teams
  • Ability to rapidly grasp new technology and product changes, and comfort with sophisticated concepts
  • Proficiency in SQL
