Job Summary
As the
Inside Sales & Technical Product Representative, your work represents Shearwater's brand promise: Powerful, Simple, Reliable.

You will join our dynamic Sales and Marketing team, working with our extensive dealer network to support inside sales, retail product support, order entry, and administrative support.


Job Grade:


Career Band 1:
$40,000- $70,000


Responsibilities and Duties

Inside Sales

  • Proactively reach out to dealers for sales communications.
  • Provide product information, services, and policies to dealers.
  • Generate weekly sales reports from Business Central for growth insights.
  • Maintain updated customer activity records and gather feedback for improvement.
  • Support A/R goals and sales efforts through communication and administrative tasks.

Retail Product Support

  • Conduct instore product demos, retail training, and assist in dealer onboarding.
  • Coordinate product knowledge activities and implement digital tools.
  • Implement and maintain our dealer product education and sales incentive digital tool.
  • Deploy trade marketing tools, POP displays, and support sales efforts at trade shows.

Order Entry and Administrative Support

  • Input new dealer data into Business Central.
  • Enter dealer sales orders accurately into Business Central or B2B platform.
  • Provide order confirmations with current shipping lead times within half a business day.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in the dive industry or related fields is highly desirable.
  • Postsecondary education in business administration, operations, or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of applied experience in inside or outside sales, preferably with technical products.
  • Understanding of sales processes and key performance metrics; manufacturing experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with regulated industries or government programs is an asset.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to represent the company professionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate respectfully and empathetically with customers.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and projects efficiently.
  • Proactive problemsolving skills with a positive approach to resolution and followup.
  • Understanding of bid contracting processes and logistics considerations.
