Responsibilities
- Oversees the project teams on their assigned HOTEL CONSTRUCTION AND RENOVATTION sites to establish the project scope and ensure the job is completed within budget and according to schedule.
- Reporting to project manager.
- Provide and exicute overall administrative and technical direction for one or more projects/contractors.
- Company is looking for Site supervisor/site engineer for the renovation job of their multi pal hotels in the portfolio.
- Managing all trades and coordination between all trades.
- Supervise the job and get optimum result and workmanship.
- Reviewing initial drawings and project scope and ensure that the project is built in accordance with these documents
- Conducting everyday site visits to oversee the progress and scheduling of the trades
- Conduct and efficiently manage project meetings weekly, biweekly or monthly as needed
- Identifying and advising the senior management team of potential problems, work interferences or schedule difficulties while assisting in circumventing/resolving such conflicts
- Overseeing the preliminary construction schedule with the Project Superintendent and Team.
- Overseeing and signing off on various reports produced by the Project Team including monthly reports and submittal reports
- Enforce company and project policies, main client interface, and are responsible for project performance including: budget/costs, schedule, quality and overall project status
- The ability to read, interpret, analyze and forecast a project's costs and determine the status of the job in terms of schedule and costing
- Assessing potential risks and notifying owners on a continuous basis
- Assure compliance with project construction schedule and budgets and assume responsibility for the commissioning of the project
- Ensure comprehensive project closeout
- Ensure the implementation of our Safety Program to create a safe work environment throughout the jobsites
Required Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational and experience requirements include a construction related degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience
- Minimum of two to three years of experience in a similar role. Hotel construction/ Renovation experience is preferable.
- Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards etc. and their impact on construction projects
- Foresight to predict problems before they develop
- Advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, engineering drawings and other documents
- Ability to assume responsibility, interface and have superior communication and interpersonal skills essential
- Enthusiasm for challenge and new initiatives
- Proficiency in Office and Project Management software (e.g. MS Office/Project)
- Good Command on English
- Project management: 23 years (required)
Salary:
$1.00-$2.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
