D U T I E S
Reporting to the Chair, IT and Professional Studies in the School of Continuing Education, the
Program Facilitator is responsible for planning and implementing processes that support student
success and the efficient administration, development, delivery, and promotion of programs. The
Program Facilitator schedules and coordinates courses, timetables, instructor assignments; and
tracks and monitors course enrolment numbers and other activities that ensure efficient
operations of the program area. The incumbent supports instructors in the use of College
computer systems and processes, coordinates resources for classes and solves operational
problems, facilitates student success through the planning and delivery of student information
sessions and program orientation sessions, prepares and edits correspondence, website pages,
and course outlines; and organizes and prepares materials for Advisory Committees, working
groups, faculty and other program-related meetings. The incumbent liaises with external
stakeholders, internal departments, students, and instructors to support program delivery and
maintain positive working relationships.

  • R E Q U I R E D Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S
  • Post-Secondary education in Office Administration or Business Administration/Management;
- an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Experience supporting the delivery of programs and services
  • Experience providing customer service to a multicultural and multineeds customer base
  • Experience working in a fastpaced environment where accuracy and attention to detail is
- required - while meeting deadlines
  • Demonstrates initiative and ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and
- collaboratively within a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including both verbal and written communication, and conflict

- resolution
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues
  • Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning
and continuous improvement

  • Experience with College Systems (e.g. LEARN, Infosilem Timetabler DCU, Reporting,
Colleague, Catalogue Maintenance, Maestro)
