You have in-depth mastery of one technical process and maintains that process using progressive maintenance standards, troubleshooting on multiple processes and issues when necessary.
How you will contribute

You will operate and maintain equipment to build technical mastery and to deliver on safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets, understanding losses in your area and taking the appropriate action to eliminate them.
You will use autonomous and progressive maintenance standards to maintain equipment and support new product development. In this role, you will ensure that safety processes are observed, and that quality assurance activities are performed. You will take an active role in shutdown maintenance, root-cause analysis, stops reductions loss analysis and breakdown elimination.What you will bring

You will bring experience and knowledge in:
- Autonomous maintenance (AM) Step 4 systems and the advanced skills to maintain equipment at basic conditions, including AM and progressive maintenance (e.g., breakdown maintenance, planned maintenance) standards on dedicated equipment
- Phase 2 tools including AM Step 4, working principle, general inspection, focused improvement 12 steps, and quality management Steps 3
- Leading a standard work process using a plandocheckadjust approach
More about this role
- Meets and communicates daily with the Processing and Packaging Team Leaders to set shift activities.
- Communicates shift events with counterpart on opposite shifts.
- Uses the product conveyor computer to control the flow of product to the first floor.
- Monitors the flow of bulk throughout the twist, storage area, stick areas throughout the day.
- Ensures changeovers are being performed properly (eliminate the chances for cross contamination) and in a timely manner.
- Ensures correct bulk is being used on all machines.
- Track and report daily inventories of WIP totes and stage in SAP.
- Back up to twist operators.
- Makes decisions around machine breakdowns (i.e. starting up another twist machine).
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Formula and Process Instructions and Working Instructions.
- Coordinate the twisted bulk for multipack totes with assigned person.
- All other duties as assigned.
