Job Title:
Lane Closure Technician (LCT).

Required Experience: 3 years minimum.


Compensation:
starting at $25-32 per hour (depending on skills and & experience).

Responsibilities:


  • Be reliable and consistent in attendance.
  • Possess a hardworking, and positive attitude.
  • Complete daily vehicle, signs, and equipment safety inspection reports.
  • Efficient job site set up and tear down to ensure a safe, and controlled work space for all.
  • Complete work site hazard assessments, traffic control plans with diagrams, and submit work site set up photos.
  • Maintain professional communication amongst coworkers, management, and clients. Ensure to ask management questions if clarification is needed.
  • Ability to critically think, remain alert, and problem solve while on the job.
  • Understand and consistently demonstrate occupational health and safety (OHS) safe work practices and procedures.
  • Provide feedback and collaborate with supervisors and management on process improvements.

Requirements:


  • Valid Traffic Control Persons (TCP) certificate.
  • Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
  • A valid B.C. Class 5 driver's license, and ICBC safe drivers abstract.
  • Willing to work outside all yearround in varying weather conditions (sun, rain, snow, etc.)
  • Must be able to confidently implement a traffic control plans and set up site accordingly.
  • Experience in the construction and/or arboriculture industries are an asset.
  • Must posses a passion for safety, and have basic knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety regulations as required by WorkSafe BC.

Salary:
$26.00-$32.00 per hour
