Health Care Worker
Temporary Full-Time





SALARY:
$57,328 to $85,061


SUMMARY:


This full-time temporary position is located in the North Bay office for a term of up to twelve (12) months.

The ICDP Worker delivers a wide range of voluntary early intervention services that support children in the community from birth up until daycare or school entry, who may have delays or who are at risk for a developmental delay.

These services may include but are not limited to completing assessments and reports, home visits, assisting families and their children make the transition to a pre-school/day care program, leveraging services available as well as advocacy.

All actions are performed according to the Society's policies, procedures, Ministry standards and guidelines and the vision, mission, values and overall strategic direction of PARNIPCAS.

This position is within the Bargaining Unit.


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Registered nursing diploma
  • Bachelor of Science or master's degree in nursing preferred.
  • Consideration will be given to other qualifications in combination with related experience.
  • Current membership in Professional College/Association.
  • Foundational knowledge in medical services.
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills with children and adults.
  • Valid Ontario class "G" Drivers Licence, satisfactory Drivers abstract, and vehicle required.
  • Ability to maintain a high standard of privacy and confidentiality in the performance of duties.
  • Experience working with families and children preferably in child welfare is considered an asset.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset.
