Description

We are a small, family oriented dental office looking to add a competent and highly motivated dental assistant to our growing team.

You should be a team player, self-driven, well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations.

You will have strong communication skills and provide direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.

Must be able to work independently and as part of the team where ever required to ensure a smooth running of the clinic.

Pay negotiable as per experience. Willing to train.

We are in the process of upgrading our office and adding new technology and we aspire to grow together as a team

Responsibilities

Welcome clients in the dental office
Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist through 4handed dentistry
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Provide oral hygiene and postoperative care instructions
Keep the dental room clean and wellstocked
Schedule appointments and attend calls whenever required
Maintain and update accurate patient records

Skills

Proven experience as dental assistant (minimum required few months to 1 year of assisting experience)
Certified with the Ontario Dental Assistants Association
National Dental Assisting Examining Board Certificate (NDAEB)
HARP approved
