Avara Landscaping is a full service landscape design and build firm located in Medicine Hat.

We provide all services in-house to build complete outdoor spaces including hardscaping, spoftscaping, outdoor kitchens and structures for residential and commercial clients.

Experience is a requirement.


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma with positionrelated experience OR postsecondary graduate with a diploma/degree in the field of landscape design.
  • 12 years of administrative assistant experience
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to read detailed construction and concept drawings.
  • Selfmotivation and a commitment to highquality and detailoriented projects.
  • Knowledge of city construction bylaws is an asset.
  • Strong social media skills and marketing are assets.
  • Valid class 5 licence.

Responsibilities:


  • Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, schedule meetings, and support visitors.
  • Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
  • Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning administrative projects and expediting work results.
  • Develop and maintain a filing system.
  • Supports the team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication. Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Handle complaints and problems.
  • Preparing takeoffs.
  • Report to manager(s).

Salary:
$18.00-$22.00 per hour
