Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a
Manager, Carwash Design on a permanent basis within our Facilities Design and Development team.

This position is a remote opportunity and can be based across Western Canada.

Are you looking for an opportunity where you can showcase your expertise in carwash designs and have a passion for innovation and leadership? This position leads a team responsible for standard and site-specific design, construction, and commissioning of carwash facilities.

What you'll do:

Conduct research and analysis to develop standard designs and guidelines with respect to carwash facilities.
Ensure design standards are available for all carwash options in support of the FCL strategy.
Conduct research and analysis to assess new technologies, sustainability initiatives and field testing.
Responsible for the relationship management of suppliers and installers of carwash equipment and systems.
Participate in and direct the carwash team in the execution of construction by assigning resources to support project teams.
Travel to perform site audits of carwash construction and industry conferences.
Be a leader in support of our nearly 200 carwashes across Western Canada.

Who you'll work with:

You will have one direct report, and will report into the Manager, Engineering Technology and Design. This team strives to cultivate a culture of innovation and collaboration.

You will work closely with other functions in our Facilities Design and Development team and collaborate with other departments in FCL, local Co-op's, suppliers and contractors.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Project Management & Business Analysis and:

Have 8-10 years of relevant progressively responsible experience in carwash systems, mechanical systems and/or electrical systems (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
Have a degree or diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering.
Experience in design or operations of carwash equipment is considered an asset.
