In this role, you will be responsible for executing and delivering projects of moderate to large scale within Alithya's corporate environment.
You will work with business stakeholders and project sponsors to formulate a clear project charter, and drive actions to execute the project.
- Provide expertise required to effectively plan, build and implement enterprise management system (Oracle Cloud ERP, MS Dynamics, etc.) and IT system projects (new systems, transformation and evolution) in a matrix environment;
- Be responsible for project planning, delivery, resources, timelines and schedules, financials and sponsor satisfaction (handson and in line with the project charter);
- Manage:
- delivery issues and risks, and develop mitigation strategies;
- all project control and administration activities (time and loading analysis, status reporting, project reviews, resource management) in a timely manner.
- Meet with team members on a regular basis to assess progress and drive the next steps;
- Establish and manage priorities and drive to completion, taking into consideration the various interdependencies within the portfolio;
- Proactively manage scope and scope changes;
- Rapidly escalate all risks and issues that could result in delays, budget overruns or quality issues and provide solution options;
- Present project status reports to internal clients, including steering committees and executivelevel sponsors;
- Ensure that projects are well documented and that documentation is stored in the project repositories;
- Maintain a cooperative, motivated and successful team;
- Work closely with the change manager to ensure all necessary change management activities are completed in a timely manner;
- Perform other duties as reasonably required of this role or requested by management.

Does this sound like you?
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in IT, engineering or business administration;
- 8 to 10 years of experience in ERP project management;
- CAPM or PMP certification;
- Experience:
- working as a project manager in a PMO supporting matrix project teams;
- with MS Office 365 and proficiency in project management software (MS Project is preferred).
- Ability to:
- handle steering committee discussions and governance of the technical and business aspects of the project;
- run meetings, capture MOMs, communicate, and do the necessary follow up with various stakeholders;
- communicate clearly and concisely, interact with all levels of stakeholders, including senior and executive management, and influence outcomes.
- Assets:
- Previous experience in Oracle ERP implementations;
- Experience working with implementations in cloud environments.
- Resultoriented person with a drive to achieve measurable project and PMO goals;
- Superior communication skills (written, spoken and presentation);
- Bilingualism (English and French):
- Proficiency in English is required to collaborate with local and American teams.
