About us
On Edge Brewing is an up and coming brewery in Edmonton, AB. We opened our doors in May, 2023 and began featuring our own brews on tap in November, 2023. We are looking for reliable employees who are ready to come on this journey with us. This position requires a flexible and dedicated individual who will help us grow our small business.


Position Responsibilities:

• Proficient knowledge of our inhouse brewed beers and other menu items
• Ability to make founded recommendations to guests
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to customers
• Take food and beverage orders from guests in both table service style and at the bar top
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Check ID's to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines when handling and serving food
• Handle both cash and wireless transactions through the POS system
• Provide topquality customer service and ability to professionally address guest inquiries and concerns
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations
• Completely daily and weekly cleaning tasks
• Set up and close the restaurant and bar area

Role Requirements:

• Previous bartending and serving experience or a similar role is preferred
• Basic knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and mixology
• Familiarity with food handling and service procedures
• Experience with POS systems for order processing and payment transactions
• Strong hospitality skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
