Description
Private language school requires a Marketing and Recruitment representative to handle our busy Korean market.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Create, maintain and introduce a list of agencies, agents and immigration offices recruiting students locally and overseas
  • Connect with the agents on a regular basis
  • Create quotations for group and individual enquiries
  • Manages grade and transcript processing; coordinates academic information for graduation clearance; provides special program certifications; compiles statistical data and prepares reports.
  • Provide training to key agents and counsellors through regular visits and training sessions.
  • Support recruitment agents in promotional activities, including education fairs, exhibitions, interview days, and workshops abroad.
  • Maintain an uptodate record of the student recruitment and admissions process.
  • Support in creating marketing material (i.e., flyers, brochures, Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok videos) to promote IH Vancouver to different demographics.
  • Be responsible for messaging/responding on different platforms (i.e., Whatsapps, WeChat, Google etc.) to promote IH Vancouver.
  • Be in contact with parents, agencies, others where appropriate, in Korea and other related communities.
  • Provide student counselling throughout their stay at the school
  • Execute admission and scholarship campaigns.
  • Build networks and maintain relationships with external organizations.
  • Establish and implement marketing strategies for international student admission and recruitment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications:


  • Minimum bachelor's degree in education, administration, marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum three (3) years' work experience in an international school /or college and familiarity with student management systems.
  • Language: Korean and English
  • Fluency in Mandarin is a plus

Require to:


  • Travel within the Greater Vancouver area. It may, from time to time require travel outside the GVA.
  • Travel to education fairs, agent contact meetings, etc.
  • Flexible hours to meet the requirements of the job description.
  • Confidentiality the Student Recruitment Officer understands the need for confidentiality regarding: Student/Parent information and IH Vancouver policies, personnel, daytoday issues and directions of the school and any other matters pertaining to the school and its personnel, in general.

Knowledge of:


  • Principles and practices of employee supervision
  • Practices and procedures of student registration, considerable knowledge required
  • Administrative organization and academic regulations
  • Standard recordkeeping procedures
  • Support systems for data management

  • Developing and maintaining effective and appropriate working relationships
  • Critical thinking, problemsolving, and analysis

  • Guide students and faculty through the registration process
  • Communicate effectively through both oral and written means
  • Respect diversity and work collaboratively with individuals of diverse cultural, social and educational backgrounds
  • Maintain the confidentiality of information and professional boundaries
  • Work independently to analyze available information, draw conclusions and understandings, and present such findings effectively to senior management.
  • Ability to set KPIs and track progress

Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Staff have been allowed to combine working at the office with working from home during the Pandemic. All staff and students wear masks well onsite at the school. There are daily Covid-19 symptoms checks.
