Inventory Control Coordinator

Position:
Full-Time, Permanent


Salary:
From $20/h


Schedule:
Monday to Friday 8:00-16:30

Position Overview:


The Inventory Control Coordinator or Cycle Counter Clerk collects data using a computerized system, which allows them to track various aspects of inventory.


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Adheres to safe work practices.
  • Works directly with IC Supervisor and Cost Analyst to bring them up to date regarding stock inflow and outflow.
  • Compile inventory information and present it to the Inventory Control Supervisor for effective decisionmaking, which may include the need for restocking, and so on.
  • Do cycle/physical counts for inventory.
  • Balancing entries to verify allocated raw material usage and reports to Cost Analyst.
  • Manually doing yield tests and labor time trials and submit them to Cost Analyst.
  • Records daily production volumes with Cost Analyst.
  • Plan and execute production to fulfill all regulatory as well as SQF requirements.
  • Perform any other duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Scissor lift and/or Forklift License
  • Effective communication and collaboration
  • Proficient with the use of the computer, especially packages relating to inventory, like Excel and others.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred)
  • Experience is an asset
  • Handling heavy loads and manual dexterity
  • Familiarity with company products is an asset
  • Attention to detail, decision making and critical thinking skills
  • Exposure to noise, odors, and cold (refrigeration)
  • Job task planning, organizing, and continuous learning
