What's a day like as Service Advisor?

Responsible for ensuring all steps in Accelerated Service Process is completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
Greet customer and begin the process of helping the customer through the required repair.
Write up repair order for customer's vehicle and advise customer of necessary repairs accurately and clearly.
Act as positive liaison between technicians, foreman, parts department and customers.
Review work completed and charges to the customer upon repair completion and close repair order as appropriate.
Handle customer inquiries whether by telephone or walk in regarding inbound work and work in progress.
Complies with all Carrier Centers' policies and procedures including Health and Safety Policies and Procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
35 years of work experience as a service advisor in an auto or large truck environment.
Mechanical experience with large trucks would be considered an asset.
Has a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to provide excellent customer service while demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Must have strong organizational skills, a high attention to detail and the ability to quickly adapt and multi task in a fast paced environment.
An individual who is results driven, has the ability to lead and is a team player with a strong sense of urgency.
Will be selfmotivated and has a strong drive for excellence.
Consistently exhibits a professional attitude and presents a positive image to all internal and external customers.
