The Employee Experience Coordinator will be accountable for providing a range of HR operational services including providing information and guidance to managers and employees on HR issues of basic to moderate complexity, as well as supporting the day-to-day coordination, delivery and administration of various HR services and programs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities*The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

Proactively supports the development, implementation, and delivery of all core HR processes in the Business within the broad categories of employee relations, engagement, compensation, talent attraction, and learning & development

  • Guide and advise managers and employees on employee relations matters, escalating more complex situations as required
  • Investigate employee relations issues including employee matters and performance concerns while maintaining confidentiality, consistency and sensitivity
  • Answer questions utilizing regarding various HR policies, programs and practices in areas such as pay/benefits, accommodations, return to work planning, leaves of absence, learning and development, etc.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop and implement initiatives as it relates to employee engagement, and HR strategic planning.
  • Assist with reporting HR metrics and development of HR reporting, HR systems troubleshooting and administration
  • Support in the coordination of various HR activities including new employee onboarding, offboarding activities, payroll, benefits,
  • Liaise with other stakeholders as required supporting the employee lifecycle
  • Ensure employee files and signoff requirements are accurate and uptodate
  • Prepare and provide materials in support of employee programs
  • Support recruitment, payroll, training, compliance and other HR administrative activities as needed

Qualifications/Competencies:

The individual in this role will have the following:


  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources and 3 years of related experience in HR service delivery or equivalent combination of education and experience. CPHR Designation is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies and program principles and practices
  • Strong understanding of related legislative rules and regulations (e.g., Employment Standards, Human Rights)
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products, internet and HR systems.
  • Experience with Criterion HCM is an asset.
  • Strong coordination and planning skills, with superior attention to detail and accuracy
  • Very strong organizational skills, including balancing multiple responsibilities, effectively meeting deadlines and handling high work volume
  • Strong process orientation and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (written and verbal), able to communication effectively with all levels
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with all stakeholders
  • Being adaptable and able to work in a changing environment
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
  • Very strong customer service orientation
  • Highly motivated, selfstarter with strong learning orientation
  • Ability to understand employee relation issues and communicate solutions effectively, professionally, and respectfully
  • Demonstrated respect to diverse communities, backgrounds, identities, gender, and sexualities with an understanding of terminology and pronouns.
  • Ability to communicate crossculturally and work effectively with individuals and groups, including those with socially marginalized identities and experiences
  • Criminal Record Check, Child Intervention Check, and Reference Checks will be required as part of preemployment screening.
