Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy Manager/Store Operator to join our Pharmasave location in Biggar, Saskatchewan. Pharmasave Biggar is part of the Neighbourly Pharmacy Network.Our Pharmasave location is a staple in the Biggar community, where our team is proud to collaborate with Homecare and community Nurses to meet all of our patient's needs.

Position Details:
Up to 40 hrs / week

Patient Focused Care Responsibilities:
The Pharmacy Manager/Store Operator is responsible for providing safe, effective, and appropriate drug therapy and actively contributes to an environment of employee and customer engagement.
The Pharmacy Manager/Store Operator will play a key role in achieving departmental excellence in the areas of patient focused care, customer service and workflow efficiencies.
Focus on clinical services (i.e., medication reviews, disease state management)Promotes the Neighbourly brand through publishing, presenting, and participation in industry associations to improve brand awareness.
Follow and promote the Neighbourly policy manual to inspire a working environment that attracts and retains talented, committed and engaged employees
Initiate care plans, follow up and document
Administer vaccines
Determine appropriateness of drug therapy
Monitor medication adherence
Collect and document relevant patient, drug, and disease information
Recommend OTC products and vitamins
Answer questions from patients that require therapeutic knowledge, clinical analysis, or assessment
Supervise a pharmacy student or a provisional pharmacist in the performance of restricted activities
Qualifications & Skills
Licensed and in good standing with College of Pharmacists of Saskatchewan
Minimum 1 year of prior experience as a Pharmacy Manager (preferred)
Possess entrepreneurial abilities and a will to grow the business
Ability to lead, coach, and encourage staff
Capability to collaborate with the front-store staff to find possibilities for patient care
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Self-directed and able to work independently.
Excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalism
