    Based in Thunder Bay, Ontario, you will be responsible to support the Head of Industrial Quality Thunder Bay and the Site Quality Director in the planning and delivery of quality control and improvement activities for the Light Rail Vehicle program.

    As part of your job, you will be asked to:

    • Develop and deploy processes, tools & quality standards with industrial teams.
    • Manage Quality activities related to digital tools: GSI, QES & AOS.
    • Deliver training for Quality teams to Industrial Quality Standards.
    • Contribute and Collaborate to development of PFMEAs, Control Plans and Self Inspection Plans
    • Manage the development and issuance of car history books (Traceability, configuration, ...).
    • Perform Workstation audits planning, ensure follow-up & management of relevant action plans.
    • Manage the Problem-solving activities for shop-floor including containment and corrective action management
    • Manage when needed the metrology activity and monitor external provider of calibration.
    • Manage the quality methods team if relevant.
    • Manage APSYS improvement plan for Industrial Quality scope.

    Performance measurements

    • Quality documentation deployed at the pre-series / serial start stage.
    • Metrology activity: Zero tools of control / manufacture in delay of control.
    • Activity audits: 100% of the audits carried out in the year according to planning defined.
    • Dashboard deployed and up to date (in AOS/GSI/SAP and Key Performance Indicators)
    • Achieve yearly targets for defect reduction (Defects per Unit) and reduction of cost of Non-Quality (CONQ)
    • APSYS measurement for the Industrial Quality Road Map.

    Educational and Experience Requirements:

    • Graduated from Technical and/or Quality and/or Engineering degree (Masters preferred)
    • Computer savvy with digitization skills desired
    • Process knowledge of Industrial Quality with at least 2- 5 years experiences preferred
    • Project Management and/or Quality auditor experience would be an asset
