    About the role

    ·Prepare structural layouts: conceptual and detail drawings in line with project requirements.

    ·Interface with other disciplines (civil/earthwork, architectural, mechanical, piping, electrical) to ensure structural drawings incorporated other discipline requirements.

    ·Perform site visits, inspect existing structures, prepare drawings and sketches of existing structures.

    ·Liaise with designers, engineers and project managers for direction, coordination, and feedback.

    ·Maintain consistent design drafting standards across projects.

    ·Experience with Autodesk and 3d Advanced Steel

    ·Smartplant experience an asset

    About you:

  • Structural Engineering Technician diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Structural Layout and design drafting of Mineral Processing Plants within a large project, multidisciplinary EPC/EPCM environment.
  • ·Site experience and shop detailing is considered an asset.

    ·Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of multi-functional project teams is a must.

    ·Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are essential.

    ·The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
