We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Bartender to join our team at Paros in Toronto, ON.

As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for our customers.

Duties:

Efficiently prepare beverages during service
Maintain a deep knowledge of wine, spirits, and nonalcoholic offerings
Present menus and provide detailed information about the dishes and beverages
Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks
Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner
Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally
Process payments, issue receipts, and handle cash transactions accurately
Collaborate with other team members to provide excellent service and maintain a clean bar area

Qualifications:

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is required (Minimum 2+ years, preferably fine dining)
Thorough knowledge of wine and spirits
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent multitasking abilities to handle multiple tables simultaneously
Knowledge of proper food handling procedures
Valid Smart Serve certification
