HOURS OF WORK:

Hours of work are Monday to Friday daytime hours and extra hours are often required to meet workload demands. Work is performed in an office environment, which can be crowded and noisy due to department activity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

The Executive Assistant provides overall administration and office management for members of Senior Administration. Coordinates the input into the development of strategic, long-range and operational/business plans. Prepares and coordinates correspondence, monitoring/tracking information and requests, prepares briefings, presentations, and other materials for senior team.


WHAT YOU'LL BRING:


  • University degree in Business Administration or equivalent education and experience
  • Experience as an Executive Assistant in a health care setting or equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations of government and ministry directives and guidelines preferred
  • Experience and skills in managing an office environment

WHO YOU ARE:


  • Excellent problem solution and relationship building skills
  • Excellent keyboarding skills (60 wpm)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of office administration skills
  • Thorough knowledge of office procedures
  • Excellent working knowledge of the

Window Suite:
word processing, graphic, spreadsheet and E-mail programs. (MS Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook)

  • Working knowledge of SharePoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact well with all levels of staff and the community
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to adapt to continually changing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to meet goals and objectives within specified time frames
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fastpaced environment with multiple demands at a time
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and use good judgement, and as a team member
