Rideout Tool and Machine INC is an established distributor of Atlas Copco Air Compressors, Metal and Wood working machinery throughout the Maritimes.

Job requires On-site and Field Service of air compressors and related wood and metal working machinery. The majority of the work would be within HRM and Nova Scotia. Company vehicle during work hours and on-site training will be provided.


Responsibilities

  • Complete and turn in field reports that capture all time and work completed on site
  • Provide diagnostic analysis, repair, or preventative maintenance to customers
  • Practice and adhere to all safety and training

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to travel outside HRM (mainly day trips)
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Back round in a Mechanical trade or Millwright would be an asset
  • Comfortable working around electrical equipment up to 600 volts, 3 phase.

Job Type:


  • Term Position 36 months (possibility of leading to permanent fulltime)

Schedule:


  • 8 hour shift (possibility of overtime)
