In this role, your primary accountability will be managing the cost centers assigned to Turnaround and Construction (TAC) and ensuring costs are cleared monthly.
In addition, you will support fiscal stewardship of the budget and support development of the 10-year budget and financial Long Range Plan (LRP) for Turnaround.
You will be accountable and support a diverse set of duties in Capital Management, Project Controls and Finance functions.Minimum Requirements:
- Three years of Project Controls experience with a Bachelor's degree or technical diploma.
- Experience managing capital project funding and financials
- Ability to multitask in a demanding and dynamic environment, handle ambiguity and deliver results on complex issues
- Strength in holding others accountable, with an expectation that others do the same for you
- Experience working with SAP, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power tools
Responsibilities:
- Manage Turnaround and Construction (TAC) cost centers and facilitate cost clearing activities monthly
- Support time entry rollout and sustainment across TAC
- Support Project Controls activities such as project setup, workforce distribution forecasting, and other supporting tasks
- Support development and rollout of governance documents for the Capital Management Team
- Support improvement opportunities to support TA capital management, fiscal stewardship, financial long range planning, risk registers and other opportunities with TAC.
Location & other key details- You will work out of our Base Plant Mine in Fort McMurray, Alberta- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday- If you reside outside of Fort McMurray, relocation of your primary residence to within 60 km of Fort McMurray is mandatory.
