Description
As a Residential Support Worker within Community Living Welland Pelham you will be expected to work within a team environment and take an active role in supporting people in their daily living as well, to achieve their personal goals, to facilitate relationships, skills, and valued roles by coordinating services and individualized supports.
Qualifications for this position are as follows:
- Minimum of a G2 License and driver's abstract required upon hire
- Vulnerable Sector Police check, less than 6 months old required upon hire
- Ability to develop positive and respectful relationships with others
- Collaborative team player
- Good problem solving, organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Previous experience providing supports to individuals with individuals who have an intellectual disability to promote community inclusion and independence
- Successful completion of postsecondary program in a related field is an asset
