eLearning Summer School Brightspace/D2L Support

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Summer School Administrator, the eLearning Summer School Brightspace Support will support Brightspace/ D2L issues within the eLearning Summer School program.

The eLearning Summer School Brightspace/ D2L Support will provide training/support for the eLearning Summer School program (running in July) that will utilize the Brightspace/ D2L environment.

The eLearning Summer School Advisor will support the generation and development of Brightspace shells, support utilizing Brightspace tools, upload administrative messages to Brightspace pages, troubleshoot enrolment issues/log in issues report by students, staff and parents.

Qualifications:

Basic* :
Qualifications in two (2) Divisions

Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years successful teaching experience

Other :
A strong understanding of the Brightspace environment.

Demonstrated ability to facilitate small and large groups of teachers in a collaborative setting;
Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills;
Able to articulate service in this summer position as a call to Catholic Vocation;
Demonstrated ability to incorporate technology into teaching/learning activities; and

Duties and Responsibilities:

Other duties as assigned by the Summer School Administrator.
