In this vital role you will join our bioassay team in In Vitro Pharmacology group to discover novel therapeutic antibodies.

Essential Functions:

  • Conduct experiments to develop assays and screen molecules for therapeutic antibody discovery
  • Use of laboratory techniques such as: mammalian cell culture and transfection, ELISA, flow cytometry, fluorescence imaging
  • Use of laboratory equipment such as: multimode plate readers, imaging systems, flow cytometers, liquid handlers
  • Experimental design, execution, and data analysis/documentation
  • Critical evaluation and presentation of experimental data

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree

OR

Master's degree & 4 years of directly related experience

OR

Bachelor's degree & 6 years of directly related experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deep expertise in bioassays such as cytokine release assay, cell activation/proliferation assays, phosphorylation assays, reporter assays, and ADCC
  • Experience working with primary human cells for assay purposes
  • Previous experience with developing and conducting bioassays for antibodydrug conjugate (ADC) molecules would be an asset
  • Established capabilities in settingup and operating laboratory equipment including multimode plate readers (e.g., Envision), imagers (e.g. IncuCyte, ArrayScan), and automated liquid handlers (e.g. Bravo) for the development of 96 and/or 384well platebased assays
  • Demonstrated initiative, teamwork, collaboration and passion for developing technical expertise from assay development to routine execution
  • A flexible mindset with strong interpersonal, communication and problemsolving skills
