If you are looking for your next professional challenge, we have an opportunity for you As a Site Supervisor at SFU Burnaby, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations and will be responsible for leading a dynamic team at a state of the art university campus.


This position pays $32. 49 per hour.

What does a Supervisor do?:


  • Plan, direct, and ensure the smooth running of operations at the client's site.
  • Develop and implement procedures and policies for security operations.
  • Make suggestions to improve and epitomize the security service
  • Provide operational direction to staff responding to any incidents on site
  • Conduct patrols of the campus area, to ensure the quality of the operation
  • Identify potential security and safety issues
  • Train new site officers and prepare weekly schedule
  • Updating computer records and preparing different daily and weekly reports

Qualifications to become a Supervisor:


  • 1 to 3 years experience in a security supervisory role
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Valid BC security guard license
  • Afterhours oncall availability required
