Wallace + Wallace is looking for a full time Sales Representative to join our team.

We are looking for a driven employee who thrives in a fast-paced work environment.

At Wallace, we wouldn't be able to achieve our high standard of customer service without honest, highly motivated team players.

We are looking for someone who is friendly, organized, energetic, and confident in maintaining daily processes and internal/external requests in our Residential Fence Division.


Responsibilities:


  • Responding to sales inquiries via phone, web requests and walk in traffic.
  • Preparing documents for Scheduling and/or Shipping department
  • Sales support to other team members as required.
  • Basic admin responsibilities such as: directing phone traffic, data entry and customer payment.
  • Requires exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, organization desire to learn and thrive in a high pace environment.
  • Executing customer order inquiries, including the process of sourcing various materials, as required, and setting/negotiating final pricing for customers,
  • Building and fostering strong customer relationships, with a clear strategy to grow the business.
  • Proactive sales activities to initiate new orders and to crosssell across our full product offering
  • Support members of the Sales Team and Management with responding to customer inquiries promptly, with detail and accuracy
  • Manage and assist all walkin and callin customer inquiries
  • Processing Purchase and Sales orders with vendors and customers accurately and proficiently
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask under pressure, while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
  • Working collaboratively with the Freight Coordinator to book and manage supply chain logistics
  • Coordinating with the warehouse regarding all storage, cutting, and handling instructions
  • Communicate with the Sales Team and Management on sales quotes and strategies
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with all colleagues, suppliers, and vendors
  • Work and collaborate with Management to leverage the company's programs (Ex: ERP)
  • Other duties as required.

Skill Set:


  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Analytical, detail oriented and organized.
  • Excellent problem solving and customer service skills.
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Adaptable to various situations with the ability to work well under pressure and in high stress situations.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask.
