Overview:


The PepsiCo Commercialization Manager is one of the key roles in the Commercialization team in the PepsiCo Foods Canada group and the primary project manager role for the group.

The Commercialization manager will help build the capability and the ongoing vision for the team.

You will be responsible for directly managing the project deliverables, timelines, and task coordination for the commercialization (commercial launch) of all growth drivers for the business outside of trade spend, media, and coupons.

Responsibilities:


  • Ensure all product change projects are managed through the correct process, governance, and successfully launch in market on time with the alignment of all relevant cross functional partners
  • Work with Prime Movers (L6-B1) to ensure project scope clearly is communicated in Business Proposals (BPs)
  • Ensure all other business priorities, schedule dependencies and risks are considered when creating the execution timeline
  • Lead crossfunctional partners (L6-L11) in weekly Task Force execution meetings
  • Drive cross functional teams to quickly assess, reprioritize and adjust schedules to meet unanticipated headwinds; this includes removing barriers, elevating risks, and balancing projects against one another in terms of priority of execution
  • Ensure proper management of Master Data (UPCs / product codes / product attributes) as part of each business proposal with personal knowledge and oversight of coordinators who assemble master data for each BP
  • Work cross functionally to reduce data and project errors, and improve speed to market vs current levels
  • The Commercialization manager will manage 2030 projects a year, that equates to roughly $10 Million innovation volume to market, and will be responsible for maintenance and sustainment projects for the $0.5 billion Quaker business
  • The Commercialization manager will be accountable to ensure on time in market launches, improving speed to market, reducing errors in project execution and associated costs (ie. obsolescence, packaging rework, etc)

Qualifications:

  • BA degree in an applicable discipline
  • Previous experience in supply chain operations or previous experience in project management
  • Detail and results oriented with strong execution skills partnered with intellectual curiosity
  • Engergized by continuous changes with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities on tight timelines
  • Technical competency and understanding of supply chain systems an asset
  • Adaptive, and willing to lead through frequent and unexpected changes
  • Willingness to solve problems and operate in ambiguous situations while working towards solutions
  • Result driven and enthusiastic, with a willingness to help work through issues
  • Process driven, methodical and systemic, but with an ability to flex norms to aide in solving problems
