Join our team as a Receiving Associate

The Receiving Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring that all merchandise is ordered, delivered, and received promptly. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for various tasks including:

  • Ensuring timely processing and delivery of inventory orders
  • Supervising inventory stocking and merchandising
  • Prioritizing personal growth and development opportunities
  • Building strong relationships with peers and management
  • Engaging in productive team meetings and management activities
  • Assisting in merchandise processing and floor display
  • Performing other assigned duties as needed

Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Willingness to learn about products and services
  • Capability to handle up to 50lbs of weight
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment

Requirements for the Role

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience or knowledge in pet care is a bonus

Job Details

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Starting from $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Location: Oshawa, ON (relocation required)
