As "SME for Power Distribution System" in case of projects:
- Responsible of creation of Safe Operation Procedures.
- Responsible in the creation of training requirements for the Power Technicians.
- Responsible reviewing manufactures documents.
- Attend meetings on behalf of the Alstom Power team.
Organisation Reporting
The position reports directly to the Alstom General Manager ECLRT.
Network & Links
The "Power Supply Design Leader" will liaise with:
- Supervisor of Power Distribution System
- Engineering: Power supply engineering team + other engineering teams,
- Project: Project management team,
- Site: Construction + tests and commissioning teams,
- Missions
Responsibilities:
As "SME -Power Distribution System" in project:
- Responsible for the power supply (for high voltage / medium voltage / traction / low voltage parts)
- Creation of operational reports
- Training for the power technicians
- Reviewing various documents from the client for comments.
- Validate the technical drawings from the equipment supplier,
- Participate to the factory acceptance tests of the equipment
- Provide technical support to Alstom Power Distribution team with regards to design issues,
- Validate (if requested) the Asbuilt documentation drawings modifications.
Knowledge & Experience
- A minimum of twenty years of experience in electrical power distribution systems
- Worked with local power distribution system.
- Professional experience in railways transportation,
- Good knowledge of electrical installation,
- Autonomy, motivated, initiative, and interested in technical topics,
- Fluent English, second language appreciated.
