(founded in 1962) is a diversified company offering heavy construction services ranging from excavation to demolition to underground utility installation, to name a few.

We have a reputation of fairness when dealing with sub-contractors, clients, owners and consultants. We have won numerous outstanding project awards over the course of our history.

Our home base is Portage la Prairie but we serve all of southern Manitoba.

We are currently seeking skilled and general labourers.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

Perform lifts of heavy loads up to 50 lbs and navigate construction job site terrain
Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly
Collect and remove all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site daily
Perform general maintenance and cleaning of construction equipment and vehicles
Operate lightduty vehicles such as pickup trucks, zoom booms, skid steers as needed
Provide labour support to other workers as needed or as assigned by supervisors

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Some experience working in the construction industry
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy loads
Ensure safety is a top priority at all times
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to selfstart and take initiative on tasks
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
