As the Facility Assistant II, you will be responsible for assisting in the overall operation of the facility and achievement of production targets, providing leadership within the operations team.
Your day-to-day activities will include:
- Activities will center around working with in a team in country grain elevator operations and crop input operations.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe & compliant working environment, ensuring adherence to P&H Quality and Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Performing exceptional customer service
- Regular facility maintenance & housekeeping
- 23 years' experience in a general labour job, preferably in agricultural and/or farming
- Experience in Health & Safety procedures and a champion for safe work environment
- Ability in customer service skills.
- Post-Secondary education preferably in agriculture or business would be an asset.
- D-Z / AZ license or ability to obtain.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly (up to 50 lbs.);
- Aptitude for mechanical maintenance and repair.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment offsite in customers fields.
- Flexible work schedule including evenings weekends and holidays during busy periods.
- Ability to work at heights.
