ABOUT THE ROLE

This position is responsible for managing the day to day activities of a team of reimbursement specialists and administrative assistants.

Additional responsibilities include education and training of new team members, process development and improvement across Canada, and ensuring team performance by reviewing weekly and monthly KPI targets.

Acts as the main contact for all escalations on the team and provides timely resolutions and responses to operational inquiries.


A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Oversees the Reimbursement Specialists and Administrative Assistants.
  • Ensure all program performance expectations are sustained and monitored.
  • Ensure all team performance and program standards including KPIs are met or exceeded.
  • Ensure all regional operational occurrences associated with the program are communicated to the Program Manager.
  • Ensure workload measures meet performance targets
  • Responsible for recruitment, orientation, evaluation, and retention of staff.
  • Conducts Quality Audits to assure accuracy of workflows and clientspecific processes.
  • Participates in and/or conducts clinical related calls.
  • Attends internal and external meetings with the client
  • Assist Program Manager with billing and forecasting
  • Ensures ad hoc requests are performed in a timely manner.
  • Identifies, documents, implements, and monitors process improvements and enhancements.
  • Identify, report and document Adverse Events as per Pharmacovigilance requirements
  • Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures
  • Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System as well as key performance indicators for the program.
  • Participate in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Is responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel
Job Qualification


WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Minimum 2 years of Canadian public and private reimbursement navigation and advocacy experience, within a Pharmaceutical Patient Support Program
  • Experience in peoplemanagement
  • Bilingual in French and English
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with implementation
  • Familiarity with PIPEDA and how it applies in a confidential patient environment.
  • Understanding of provincial and private coverage criteria and how to navigate the Canadian Drug Coverage Landscape is required
  • Experience in identifying and reporting adverse events to health Canada and Medical Information
  • Strong strategic thinking and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to think under pressure
