The HR Administrator, Talent Development is responsible for assisting with the administration and delivery of all training programs, administer the education financial support programs and employee and training updates to the learning management system.

Key Accountabilities

Financial Programs (40%)- Administers the education sponsorship, course reimbursement and designation allowance programs - and provides direction to employees and managers in supporting the program.- Reviews invoices for accuracy based on contracts and submits for approval.- Maintains the administration of the corporate training budget including running reports and providing data for future forecasting or the annual budget process.


Training Administration & Support (30%)- Performs administrative responsibilities related to corporate learning programs, including coordination of logistics, registration, set-up and take down of in-class and virtual rooms.- Manages the administration of the learning programs through the LMS (course set-up, completions and sending out surveys).- Prepares course material (ordering, printing, putting binders together, etc.). Participates in training events as a moderator for virtual training sessions.- Assists with ad hoc projects such as updating procedures, documentation and policies as projects are implemented. Coordinates the establishment of a corporate learning calendar (corp.

learning, technical training, other learning (O365, Water Cooler)) and maintains holistic corporate training calendar.- Maintains RFP tracking spreadsheet and associated filing system for storing contracts and related documents.- Sets up vendors (SPO's) in Peoplesoft and circulates for approvals to facilitate payment and tracking of invoices.- Provides administrative and reporting support to the performance development process for in-scope and management.


Learning Management System (LMS) (10%)- Performs general systems administration duties.- Develops and maintains LMS procedures for course enrollment.- Performs systems testing for upgrades, system enhancement and troubleshooting purposes from a course set/up, registration perspective, in collaboration with HRMS Consultant.- Completes routine reporting through the LMS to inform statistics, trends, annual reports and balanced scorecard and strategic initiatives.- Supports day-day troubleshooting of basic issues in collaboration with HRMS Consultant.- Assists with learning repository updates/management.


Leadership (10%)- Actively contributes to and supports a culture of a high performing workforce.- Participates in divisional succession plans, ensuring ongoing professional and career development and supports development in others.- Supports a culture of leadership and accountability to effectively deliver on strategic and corporate strategies.- Is actively committed to leadership development across the company, supporting team and workforce readiness through mentoring, training and developmental opportunities.


Corporate Management (10%)- Enables the success of programs and policies that are in alignment with corporate, strategic and divisional strategies.- Manages risk in area of authority.- Ensures that the Health, Safety and Emergency Management Policy is applied in area of responsibility.


Education and Experience- Two-year diploma from an accredited post-secondary education institution in a relevant field of study such as Business.- Two years' experience in human resources.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- Knowledge of human resource functions and how they interconnect.- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.- Ability to prepare and deliver effective presentations.- Ability to reconcile invoices and statements.- Ability to prepare, analyze and generate reports.


Pay Range:
$60, $80,291.00
