Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Restaurant/Bar Manager to join our team.
As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food and drink quality and safety.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise all aspects of the restaurant, including frontofhouse and backofhouse operations
- Ensure exceptional customer service by training and coaching staff on hospitality and customer interaction
- Oversee preparation, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion control, and safety guidelines
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, provide feedback, and address any concerns
- Interview, hire, train, and schedule employees to ensure adequate staffing levels
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and clean working environment
Experience:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the restaurant industry
- Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and food safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers, employees, and vendors
- Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficient in interviewing, hiring, training, and managing employees
