Description
The Catering Services Manager is responsible for selling and servicing events.Primary sales efforts are in Banquet Food and Beverage and includes:
Menu planning, Detailing all Food, Beverage, and Audio-Visual needs.
Contract review and facilitating communication before, during and post event with pertinent hotel staff to ensure a high level of service.
Maintain strong customer relationships.
Organize and coordinate event details with event organizers/conveners.
Produce BEO's for all booked functions.
Detail function requirements accurately on Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) ensuring the client signs off on the functions.
Communicate on a regular basis and closely work with our banquet & Culinary team to make sure that the hotel meets customers' expectations.
Maintain strong customer relationships, creating a professional and appealing impression with the guests.Acquire and follow up with new business contacts and leads.
Cold calls, follow up and professional relationship building with all clients.
Achieve targeted revenue and sales objectives.
Innovation and ideas to maximize the meeting/banquet space in slow periods.
Submit a weekly sales report to Director of Sales and General Manager
Other duties as assigned.
