The impact you will have


The Bilingual Collections Representative is responsible for handling the billing and collections for the company and for ensuring that the company receives accurate payment in a timely fashion.

The representative responds to customer billing inquiries by providing information and updating accounts with appropriate transactions and notes. The position must maintain good relations with all external and internal customers.

As the
Bilingual Collections Representative,you will be responsible for:

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts and contact customers whose accounts are past due
  • Answer internal and external customer inquiries related to collection efforts on a timely basis by sending appropriate invoices and statement of accounts to customer
  • Reconcile customer disputes as they pertain to payment of outstanding balances that are due
  • Update the Finance Manager weekly on the status of delinquent accounts
  • Coordinate with Sales Reps, Service Reps, CSG and TSG group for any issues regarding customers in relation to payment of invoices
  • Coordinate with Accounts Receivable on any changes on customers account
  • Prepare all statutory declarations
  • Able to submit invoices on customer's billing systems such as BGIS, ARIBA, Basware
  • Secure WSIB and CSST clearances
  • Perform other assigned duties as required

The skills you will need

  • Minimum of 1 3 years experience with collections
  • College diploma in Finance/Accounting or equivalent preferred
  • Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
  • Excellent time management skills and flexibility to handle heavy workloads
  • Highly organized and resultsdriven
  • Strong customer relationshipbuilding skills
