  • Graduation with an acceptable doctoral degree from a recognized postsecondary institution in the field of materials science and engineering or physics, related to the duties of the position, or the employerapproved alternative for the SE classification.

Productivity or Recognition:

  • Recognized achievements in the form of authorship and/or editorship of published or unpublished reports, books, book chapters, proceedings, papers, patents, or other manuscripts resulting from:
a) Research, analysis, development, and advancement in scientific and/or engineering problems; OR

c) Planning, operation, and evaluation of Canadian and foreign programs in research and development.

Experience:

xperience in developing interdisciplinary research in materials science and engineering.

xperience in writing research proposals, reports, and scientific publications.

xperience in materials processing, evaluation, and characterization.
