A:
Responsibilities

1Full cycle bookkeeping using QuickBooks software

2Day-to-day matching of transactions from multiple sources

3Management of A/R, A/P, matching of receives and payments to appropriate invoices and bills

4Reconciliation of different types of bank statements

5Investigate and problem-solve for supplier invoices that do not reconcile to payments

6Ensure appropriate taxes are applied to invoices and bills

7Month-end close processes, including recurring journal entries 8necessary for financial reporting

9Perform other accounting tasks as needed

10Communication with the suppliers and other stakeholders as required. General office and organizational support team

B:

Required Qualifications:
1Undergraduate degree or Diploma in Accounting/Finance/Business/Bookkeeping or related

2Minimum 1 year of experience in a related role

3Experience with QuickBooks Online, familiarity with full cycle bookkeeping

4Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (needed for research and review)

5Familiarity with CRA requirements and filings (HST, PST, QST, and other provincial tax filings)

6Excellent written and verbal skills in English and Mandarin.

Benefits

1Two weeks paid vacation in the first three years of employment, three weeks paid vacation for the fourth year, and four weeks paid vacation for the six-year.

3Salary: negotiable

Salary:
From $18~20.00 per hour + Bonus
