One of TEKsystems largest financial banking clients is looking to hire a Content Author to join their Experience Design team. This person will be working on an enterprise CMS migration project which will revolve around the migration of all the client's public facing website content design in both Canada and the US from an in-house custom CMS to Contentful.
As a Content Author, here's what you'll do:
• Work within a team of product managers, developers, QA and designers
• Conduct an audit and inventory of required content for migration
• Identify missing content and write copy as needed
• Populate content in Contentful CMS where automation has missed it
• Perform copy QA for migrated pages, fix defects in Contentful CMS where possible, or log and monitor defects for development
• Ensure content follows style, tone and accessibility standards
• Provide ongoing feedback to the CMS team on the usability and efficiency of the CMS experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
What makes you a great fit?
• Degree or diploma in Digital Communications, Front End Development or other relevant education
• Minimum of 2 years' working with digital communications projects, such as website development, content migration or content strategy
• Experience working with a Contentful CMS is required
• Excellent written communication, editing and proofreading skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Tenacious in meeting deadlines, well organized and adept at juggling multiple priorities to meet deliverable dates
• Ability to work independently with a disciplined and organized approach
• Collaborative team player
• Flexibility to quickly adjust to unforeseen changes in priorities and workload
