Proven leader with sales experience needed

Lead and manage your team in complex and sophisticated market conditions to achieve business results in agribusiness and agri-food.


Put your coaching and leadership skills to work as you guide a diverse team of high-performing lenders, analysts and managers within a structured sales process.

You'll foster relationships with agribusiness and agri-food entrepreneurs, review lending proposals and implement marketing strategies.


What you'll do:


  • Coach commercial and small business lenders, analysts and managers with a focus on relationships, credit processes, compliance and deal development
  • Build relationships with customers, internal and external business partners, and centres of influence to support objectives
  • Identify local business opportunities, develop and implement marketing strategies, set sales objectives and manage the loan portfolio
  • Identify key relationships and prospects, review business proposals and plan strategies using a structured sales process
  • Develop and maintain a local business network commercial and small business financing to help manage files with high outstanding balances and grow the portfolio

What you'll need:


  • A bachelor's degree; an MBA or secondary professional accreditation such as a CA, CGA or CFA designation; and at least 10 years of related experience, preferably with commercial and small business lending and including leadership experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Indepth understanding of commercial financing, agribusiness and agrifood, credit risk analysis and portfolio management
  • Experience with the relationship management process and commercial financing practices, theories and trends
