Our client operates a Michelin-rated restaurant located in the heart of Vancouver.

Known for its exceptional culinary experiences, innovative dishes, and superior service, the restaurant consistently ranks among the city's top dining destinations.

They are currently looking for a General Manager to oversee their operations and ensure the continued delivery of top-quality dining experiences.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee daily operations of the restaurant to ensure efficiency and profitability.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, service, and sanitation in line with Michelin standards.
  • Collaborate with the Chef and kitchen staff to plan menus, source highquality ingredients, and ensure excellent food presentation.
  • Recruit, train, and manage staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Manage financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to attract new customers.
  • Comply with all relevant regulations and legislation relating to restaurant operations.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment with a strong focus on team culture.
  • Regularly review and update restaurant processes and practices to meet the evolving needs of the business and customers.

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a General Manager or a similar leadership role in a fine dining restaurant.
  • Excellent knowledge of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service standards, and health and safety regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong understanding of financial management principles.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences.
  • Ability to handle highpressure situations and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Wine and beverage certification is a plus.
