Jim Pattison Subaru Northshore has an opportunity for a full-time Parts Advisor to join our team

Overview:

Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.

As a Parts Advisor, you must be self-motivated, high energy, a team player and results-oriented with a proven track of customer service excellence.

Responsibilities:

Promptly meet and greet parts customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
Listen to customers' reasons for requesting certain parts and accessories.
Offer appropriate parts or accessories to satisfy customer requirements.
Provide accurate quotes for all parts or accessories recommended.
Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously.
Ensure all parts are inspected upon arrival and any damages noted.
Process returns regularly based on the required guidelines.
Efficiently provide parts to technicians for vehicle repair and maintenance.
Contact potential new wholesale customers and ask for business.
Ensure inventory is accurately maintained.
Attend training courses as directed by Parts management.

What we value:

Experience with ordering, tracking and stocking required.
Forwardfacing customer service experience or sales experience.
Automotive parts experience is an asset.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience with DMS software such as CDK an asset.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and realistic time management skills.
Ability to work well in a team and on own initiative.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with ease.
