K-Bro Linen Systems has been a Canadian leader in laundry and linen services since 1954.

We provide a comprehensive range of general linen and operating room linen processing, management and distribution services to healthcare institutions, hotels and other commercial accounts.

K-Bro currently has nine processing facilities in eight major Canadian cities including Victoria, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Toronto, Montréal and Québec City.

We are currently seeking a
full-time Janitor to join the Maintenance team at our modern commercial laundry facility at 8035 Enterprise Street, Burnaby BC V5A1V5

Shift:2:00pm to 10:30pm, 8 hours 5 days per week (Must be able to work on Sunday and Monday)

Responsibilities:

Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub and wax floors with custodial equipment
Clean and sanitize washrooms as well as lunchrooms after breaks
Empty all waste containers in the plant
Clean and disinfect Production equipment
Wash windows, walls, ceilings, light fixtures
Make sure facility is clean and meets all safety requirements
Schedule all work to meet daily job expectations
Execute all work in a safe, professional manner in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation
Perform other duties as required by the Chief Engineer
Ability to do shift from 2:00pm to 10:30pm, 8 hours 5 days per week (Must be able to work on Sunday and Monday)
Ability to operate cleaning and custodial equipment
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Understanding of health and safety regulations
Good problemsolving skills
Good organizational and time management skills
Enjoy working in a facepaced environment
