Tax SpecialistKey Responsibilities**:

Reporting to the Associate Tax Director at Novo Nordisk Canada, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our tax responsibilities are met both locally and globally.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Prepare income tax returns, manage tax provisions and forecasts, and maintain the tax ledger in SAP.
Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
Review VAT returns for timely refunds and prepare reconciliation controls.
Support digital tax projects.
Prepare and manage SR&ED claims and filings and collaborate with the NNI Scientific Alliance Group
Assist on Transfer Pricing requirements such as transfer pricing audits, compile reporting requirements, and prepare transfer pricing calculation.

Qualifications:

Postsecondary degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
Accounting designation and SAP knowledge are preferred.
Requires a minimum of 35 years' experience in Canadian tax, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong technical knowledge covering a broad range of complex tax issues.
Current Canadian Sales Tax experience and Corporate Tax Return preparation experience
Demonstrates keen attention to detail, ability to selfcheck work, and the ability to work independently.
Proactive and collaborative approach to problemsolving, demonstrating a selfstarting nature.
Knowledge in Power BI and Alteryx will be considered as differentials.
